Jurisdiction: Lincoln National Forest, Smokey Bear District
Firefighting Resources: US Forest Service firefighters performed mop up and extinguished the fire today. Approximately 30 personnel were assigned to the Eagle Fire.
Size: estimated size is 2.0 acres
Containment: 100%
Status Update: The IC has called the fire controlled at approximately 4 PM this afternoon. It is currently estimated at 2 acres in size.

Location: Fire is burning approximately 5 miles NE from Ruidoso, NM
Lat/Long: 33 deg, 22 min, 57.35 sec X 105 deg, 37 min, 56.28 min
Legal Description: T11N, R13E, Sec 1
Firefighting Resources: US Forest Service firefighters have been on scene since yesterday and today. They are being supported by a 20 person crew. Firefighters yesterday were performing initial attack and completed constructing a fireline around the fire. Approximately 30 personnel are currently assigned to the Eagle Fire.
Values at Risk: Ranching improvements
Size: estimated size at this time is 2.0 acres
Containment: 100%
Cause: Human Cause, Abandoned Campfire
Status: The fire is primarily burning in Pinon Juniper and Slash at an elevation of 7,500 ft. Fire behavior is described as moderate. It is currently estimated at 2 acres in size.
