The Escondida Fire in Socorro County has reportedly not grown. No flare-ups or changes in the fire’s activity have been reported. The estimated acreage burned is 525 acres, a slight decrease from the previously reported total. Containment remains at 27%. No additional changes to earlier reported data have been provided. A full reevaluation of the site will be conducted late this evening. Resources are continuing suppression efforts. There has been some rain in the area.
