UPDATE: Encino Fire – Rio Rancho 6/18/17 @ 19:00

The Encino Fire in Rio Rancho is now estimated at 2,100 acres. The New Mexico State Forestry Division and multiple interagency partners including Sandoval County Fire Dept., Rio Rancho Fire Dept., Corrales Fire Dept., and the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department helicopter are working to suppress this fire as quickly as possible from the air and the ground. The cause is unknown at this time.
