Collette Fire – Santa Fe County – 7/10/17 8:20 p.m.

The Collette Fire burning in the Edgewood area of Santa Fe County is now estimated at 8 to 16 acres. The fire activity is decreasing and no homes are threatened at this time. The fire is burning into an area previously treated/thinned by the New Mexico State Forestry Division creating fuel break. Lightning is suspected of starting the Collette Fire around noon today (7/10).
