Crockett Fire – Eddy County – 7/18/17 11:30 a.m.

The Crockett Fire burning near Hope, New Mexico in Eddy County is now 100% contained. Lightning started the fire Monday (7/17) afternoon burning approximately 7 acres. No structures are threatened. The fire is burning in grass and Piñon-juniper. Crews will continue to mop up and monitor the fire.

Jurisdiction: NM State Forestry, Lincoln National Forest, Guadalupe Ranger District and Bureau of Land Management.
