The Apple Fire is located 18 Miles northeast of Seneca, NM and 30 miles northeast of Clayton, NM in Union County. This fire spread from Kenton, Oklahoma into New Mexico overnight (06/10). The fire is currently estimated at 200 acres and 50% contained in New Mexico. No structures are threatened at this time. A red flag warning is in effect for the area until 10:00 p.m. tonight (06/10). The cause is under investigation.
