The Heron Fire, located off of Highway 95 in Los Ojos, NM, is estimated at 10 acres and 50% contained. Today (06/29) crews will continue to mop up and mitigate multiple hazard trees within the fire perimeter. Approximately 30 structures are threatened. The Heron Fire started Thursday (06/28) afternoon in the Fort Heron Subdivision. The cause is under investigation.
