The “267 Fire” in Roosevelt County has forced evacuations in the area of Floyd, NM. At least 2 homes have been lost and road closures are in place due to poor visibility from smoke and dust. Resources with State Forestry and local firefighters are making good progress. Wind gusts are reported at 50 miles per hour. The fire began this afternoon on private land. The cause and acreage are still being determined at this time. #NMFire
