Incident Name – Copeland Fire
Fire Update: Fire management officials decided on a full suppression tactic on the Copeland Fire. The Copeland Fire was called 100% contained at 3:27pm April 26, 2019. Crews immediately responded to the fire, which was detected Thursday evening at 6:10 pm. The Copeland Fire was located on the north end of the Capitan Mountains in the Peppin Fire Scar approximately 10 miles from the town of Arabela, NM.
