Update: The Blue Front Fire was detected on the Smokey Bear Ranger District on October 28, 2024. Currently, crews are arriving on scene, and air support will be utilized as well. Crews are using full-suppression tactics.
Weather: Warm and dry conditions are expected today.. Temperatures will continue to be well above normal for late October. Southwest winds with gusts of around 30 mph are expected in unsheltered areas.
