CANON SECO FIRE UPDATE

Yesterday afternoon the lightning caused Canon Seco Fire was contained. Initial reports indicated that the fire was approximately 50 acres due to poor visibility in the area during initial response after nightfall. It was later determined to be 13.5 acres after the fire was more accurately scouted. Red River, San Juan fire department, and Ocala Engine 653 were on scene aiding local Forest Service firefighters.
