May 12, 2016 10:30 a.m. This will be the final update unless there is a significant change: Fire crews constructed a 300 acre containment black-line around the perimeter yesterday. With forecasted favorable weather conditions today, crews will finish the remaining 1,300 acres with aerial ignitions. Fire crews will remain on site over night to monitor the fire. Lingering smoke may be present for up to one week after ignitions are complete. Smoke will likely be visible from Abiquiu, Española, Los Alamos, Coyote, Cañones, Youngsville and Pojoaque.
