7/17/17, 9:50 am: Last night firefighters responded to a report of smoke southwest of Grindstone Lake shortly after it was reported. They successfully located a single tree fire and lined it yesterday. There were too many hazards last night to safely fell the tree. Firefighters will continue to work on the fire and ensure it does not become a threat to the surrounding communities. The fire will likely continue to put up very visible smoke.
