Jurisdiction: Lincoln National Forest, Smokey Bear Ranger District

Date/Time Detected: 7/21/17  10:00 am

Location:  Ski Apache

Firefighting Resources: 1 engine, 2 personnel

Fuels: Single Tree

Size: Single Tree

Containment: 100%

Cause: Lightning

Status: Firefighters immediately responded to a single tree fire shortly after it was reported this morning. The fire was burning between two runs at Ski Apache.  Heavy rains today helped contain the fire quickly. The fire is now 100% contained.  This will be the FIRST and LAST update, unless there is a significant change to report.
