Morris Creek Fire – Colfax County – 07/01/18

The Morris Creek Fire is estimated at 400 acres and 40% contained.  The lightning-caused fire is burning on private land 15 miles west of Miami, NM, south of Morris Creek Road, in Colfax County.  No structures are threatened.  Resources from multiple agencies are fighting this fire on the ground with additional support from aircraft.
