The Ironworks Fire in Los Chavez, NM is currently 25% contained with 50% containment expected by the end of today (03/10). Wind and rain may impact the fire area starting tonight and potentially over the next two days. Fire behavior is minimal and full containment is expected by mid-week. Approximately 55 firefighters remain on the scene and will continue to work on strengthening containment lines and mopping up hot spots. The fire began Thursday (03/07) and has burned approximately 139 acres.
