Arroyo Fire – San Juan County – 07/02/19

The Arroyo Fire is currently estimated at 7 acres and 20% contained. the fire is burning 5 miles east of Bloomfield, NM off of Highway 64 in San Juan County. Firefighters have stopped the forward progress of the fire and are now working to secure containment lines. Three residential structures, 30 vehicles, and 5 outbuildings have been lost. Additional structures remain threatened. There are no evacuations at this time. The cause is under investigation.
