The Farm Camp Fire burning west of Mosquero, NM in Harding County is now 50% contained and remains estimated at 12,000 acres. Evacuations are still in place for residents northwest of Mosquero. Firefighters have been successful in preventing the fire from spreading toward the community of Mosquero due to strong sustained winds and gusts of up to 60 miles per hour yesterday (06/08). Today’s forecast calls for cooler temperatures, intermittent cloud cover and sustained winds of up to 25 mph.
