Mims Lake Fire Final Update – Sierra County – 06/20/20 -12:45 p.m.

New aerial mapping of the Mims Lake Fire in in Truth or Consequences now shows containment at 80%. The fire, located on private land (municipal), is estimated at 125 acres. Burnout operations on the northwest portion of Mims Lake may produce additional smoke today (06/20). Firefighters will continue to mop-up hot spots and secure containment lines. No structures are threatened. This will be the last notification for this fire unless there are significant changes.
