Mims Lake Fire Update – Sierra County – 06/20/20 – 9:20 a.m.

The Mims Lake Fire burning on private land (municipal) in Truth or Consequences, Sierra County is now estimated at 100 acres and 40% contained. No structures are threatened and there are no evacuations. Today, firefighters will be conducting burnout operations on the northwest portion of the lake south of the golf course, which will produce additional smoke. The cause is under investigation.
