The Trementina Canyon Fire located 6 miles north of Trementina, NM in San Miguel County is now 40% contained and estimated at 825 acres after new GPS mapping. One structure is threatened, but there are no evacuations at this time. The fire received some light precipitation yesterday (07/15), which has moderated fire behavior allowing firefighters to mop-up hot spots and improve containment.
