Lincoln National Forest Prescribed Burning in 16 Springs Near Mayhill, NM

The Sacramento Ranger District on the Lincoln National Forest is taking advantage of the recent snow, lower temperatures and shorter days to conduct a prescribed burn in the 16 Springs area approximately 5 miles north of Mayhill, NM today, Nov. 4 and throughout the week as conditions allow. Smoke may be visible from Highway 82, Mayhill, NM and surrounding areas.
