Location: 3 miles NW of the community of Truchas

Fire Update: Fire crews are responding to the Francisco Fire, approximately 3 miles NW of the community of Truchas, New Mexico. The fire is approximately 15 acres and no structures are threatened. Some portions of the fire are active; however, the weather today is overcast with cooler temperatures and precipitation is forecasted over the fire area for tomorrow.

Smoke: Smoke may be visible from the communities of El Rito, Española, Rio Chama, El Duende, Chilile, Tesuque, Truchas, Chimayó, Cordova, and Alcalde, New Mexico. Smoke-sensitive individuals and people with respiratory problems or heart disease are encouraged to take precautionary measures.
