The Cemetery Fire located on along the Rio Grande bosque south of Belen in Valencia County is 20% contained. The fire is estimated at 319 acres and there are no evacuations at this time. Resources with the Forestry Division, Valencia County, Sandoval County, and the City of Rio Rancho are working to suppress the fire. Helicopters are dropping water to support crews on the ground during the day. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
