The Mitchell Fire, located east of Mosquero in Harding County, is now 100% contained. Firefighters will monitor the area while Red Flag Conditions are in effect. An estimated 25,000 acres of grass, brush, and pinon-juniper burned in the Mitchell Fire. No structures were lost. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. This will be the last notification unless there are significant changes.
