New Fire Start on the Carson National Forest – Tusas Fire

New Fire Start Southwest of Tres Piedras:

Fire crews are currently responding to fully suppress the Tusas Fire near the community of Las Tablas (general area map: (https://maps.google.com/maps?q=36.572715759,-106.034500122) . It is estimated to be 2.5 acres in size and growing.

Smoke can be seen from parts of Highway 285 and high points in the Tres Piedras, N.M., area.
