• On Rowe Mesa about 12 miles southeast of Pecos

Vegetation: Pinon-juniper, ponderosa pine, heavy slash from thinning

Summary: The Barbero Fire was 100% contained late yesterday. Today, firefighters continued to monitor and patrol the fire and will be on scene throughout the week. The fire is not expected to produce visible smoke.

Structures Threatened: None.

Weather: Tonight will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms and temperatures around 40. Winds are expected to be in the 10-15 mph range with gusts up to 30 mph.
