Summary: Tuesday the Pecos Zone Type 3 Team has continued with monitoring, patrol and mop-up operations on the Westhall 2 fire which is minimal and smoldering.
With suppression success, the Pecos Zone Type 3 Team will transition Wednesday with a Type IV I. C., Frank Silva of New Mexico State Forestry.
Resources: Resources assigned to the fire are from New Mexico State Forestry, U.S.Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Lincoln County Emergency Services and Bureau of Indian Affairs. Demobilization of resources will begin Tuesday, and will continue through the rest of the week.
Evacuations: There have not been any evacuations in the area.
