Fuel: Ponderosa Pine

Weather: Cloudy with thunderstorms and lightning

Resources: 7 personnel on UTVs

Situation: The fire is in a remote location East of Gallina Peak and West of the Rio Chama Wilderness in the Aragon Spring Area. The fire received precipitation. Personnel scouted for containment lines and will continue through the weekend. Resources were pulled mid-afternoon for safety concerns due to thunderstorm activity. Fire crewmembers will monitor the fire over the weekend. Heavy rains are forecasted. Smoke may be visible from 112 south of El Vado Dam.
