Evacuations have been lifted for residents affected by the Farm Camp Fire near Mosquero, NM in Harding County. No structures are threatened at this time. One (1) unoccupied, abandoned home was lost in the fire on Sunday. The fire is currently 50% contained and estimated at 12,000 acres. Fire activity increased again today (06/09) due to strong, gusting winds. Containment lines are holding with support from the NMDOT and local volunteer fire departments, including Harding County, Rosebud VFD, and Mosquero VFD. Tonight, crews from the VFD’s and the Forestry Division will continue to secure and maintain containment lines and mop-up hot spots. There are approximately 30 personnel still on the scene.
