Fire Update: Thanks to the quick response from wildland firefighters the James Fire was caught at 0.75 acres. All evacuations have been lifted and Highway 82 is now open again. Additional firefighters have arrived on scene and will stay until they feel it is safe to leave. A fire investigator is being brought in by the county to investigate the cause of the fire.
This will be the last update for the James Fire unless there is a significant change.
