Location: Off Bear Canyon Road near where it intersects Highway 130. North of Camp of the Tall Pines.
Firefighting Resources: County and Forest Service firefighting resources: 3 engines. Air attack launched.
Fire Update 6pm: Single Engine Airtankers launched.
Fire Update 5:30pm: County and Forest Service firefighters are responding to a 3-acre fire in Bear Canyon off of Bear Canyon Rd near the intersection of Highway 130. The fire was detected at 5 pm this evening. The cause is unknown. Additional resources are in route.
