Echo Ridge Fire – Torrance County – Final Update

The Echo Ridge fire is now 100% contained. The fire was reported on Sunday, April 2 at 11 am. Residents were evacuated but have since returned to their homes. Responders include NMFD, Torrance County, Bernalillo County, Santa Fe County, Santa Fe City, USFS, and Mountainair. Forestry Division has ordered a Bernalillo County fire investigator to determine the fire’s origin and cause. This will be the final update.

Structures Burned: Confirmed 3 structures and 6 out buildings. 
 
Evacuations: Yes, Echo ridge subdivision was evacuated. All residents have returned; electricity and gas has been turned back on.
