Firefighting Resources: The US Forest Service hotshot crew will transfer command back to a local US Forest Service engine (2). The hotshots will be released from this incident and the 2 engines will continue with full suppression tactics. 6 people will remain assigned to the incident.

No evacuation orders are in place at this time
Initial Status: A US Forest Service engine responded last night (4/25) and additional resources are enroute. The fire is burning in ponderosa pine, pinon juniper and grass.
4/27/16 – 11:55 am FINAL FIRE UPDATE: The fire is 100% contained. The assigned resources (2 US Forest Service engines – 6 personnel) will remain on the incident to mop-up hot spots within the fire perimeter. This is the FINAL Fire Update for the Inspiration Fire, unless there is a significant change to report.
4/27/16 – 9:00 am FIRE UPDATE: The fire is still at 70% containment. The 20 person hotshot crew will transfer command back to the local unit, 2 US Forest Service engines. They will continue working on 100% containment of the fire.
4/26/16 – 7:00 pm FIRE UPDATE: The fire is lined – and 70% contained. Firefighters held the line through afternoon winds. No change in acreage – still at 3 acres.
4/26/16 – 11:00 am FIRE UPDATE: The 20 person hotshot crew has arrived and is on scene. Continuing with full suppression tactics.
