Paradise Loop Fire Evening Update – Torrance County – April 24, 2021

The Paradise Loop Fire located off Highway 66 and Vigil Road in Torrance County is now 30% contained. The fire remains estimated at 40 acres. An unknown number of residents were evacuated along Vigil Road by local law enforcement. Multiple structures remain threatened and three outbuildings have burned. Resources will be working to contain this fire throughout the night in preparation for high winds forecast for Sunday and Monday. More than 40 personnel are currently working to suppress the Paradise Loop fire.
