Lincoln National Forest -Logan Fire – FIRST & FINAL UPDATE – 7/3/17 – 11:45 AM

The Tiffany Fire near San Marcial in Socorro County is now 40% contained. It’s estimated at 5,000 acres. Lightning started this fire on private land June 26. The Tiffany fire continues to burn through salt cedar which will produce thick, black smoke for several days.
