Location: Approximately 7 miles southwest of Weed, NM, on the ridge near Aqua Chiquita Canyon.

Firefighting Resources: One FS engine, 5 personnel.

Hazards: Snags
Size: One-tenth of an acre
Containment: 0%
Cause: Lightning
Status: This fire was reported around mid-morning today. Forest Service firefighters responded to the fire, which they reported to be a single tree fire. Firefighters proceeded with suppression tactics and full containment of the fire.
