A small wildfire has been reported in the cliffs above the Rio Grande Visitor Center in Pilar, NM. The cause is believed to be a lightning strike that flared up today, putting up a column of smoke. Firefighters from Taos BLM are on scene and monitoring the fire. Current estimate is 1.5 acres.
