The Indian Peaks Prescribed Burn has accomplished 3,688 acres on Units 16 and 20. Unit 13 is in holding status during the day, and will resume ignitions late today. The Area 74 Prescribed Burn on the Black Range Ranger District has ceased all firing operations. Approximately 7,800 acres were accomplished very successfully. The burn areas will be monitored for the next few days.  Today’s operations included burning in the area of Burnt Cabin Flat on NM Hwy 59.
